Hi, I'm Ali Ghafori
I work at the point where creative work and technology meet. Most of my time goes into three things: editing video, creating images and video with AI, and writing code.
Video editing
I edit long-form YouTube videos, short-form vertical content for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and TikTok, and promotional videos. For me, editing is mainly about story and rhythm — finding the strongest moments, cutting everything that slows the viewer down, and making the sound and color feel consistent from start to finish.
AI image and video creation
Generative AI has changed what one person can create. I use AI image and video models to produce concept art, thumbnails, product visuals and short animated clips, and then treat the results like any other raw material: selecting, editing, upscaling and color-grading them until they fit the project.
Coding
I build websites and small web tools, and I manage the Linux servers they run on — web servers, HTTPS certificates, CDNs and automation. This website is a static site I built and host myself.
Why this site exists
This site is my portfolio and a place to share what I learn. The blog has practical guides based on real projects — the workflows, prompts and server setups I actually use — written so that someone just starting out can follow along.
